Draft Brexit Deal 
This week at Westminster been dominated by the draft EU exit deal.  Ministers have resigned and you can read yesterday's lengthy debate on this here.
Remembrance Day 2018
On Sunday I joined colleagues and head pupils from George Green's School for a moving service at the Merchant Navy Memorial, 100 years from the Armistice.
Reading the names of those who gave their all
Sheila and I both had the honour of reading out a number of the over 20,000 names of those in the Merchant Navy who sacrificed their today, so we could have our tomorrow.
Fixed Odds Betting Terminals (FOBTs)
To stand up for those affected by gambling addictions, I joined colleagues in adding my name to amendments that call for the maximum bet on FOBTs' reduction to £2 to be brought forward to 1st April 2019.
Electrical Fire Safety Week
I tabled an early day motion in support of Electrical Fire Safety Week next week and supporting Electrical Safety First's campaign 'Safer over 65'.
Votes on the Autumn Budget
On Monday's debate on the Finance Bill I voted for an amendment, which was unsuccessful, and voted against the Government's budget.
Gambling with Lives
On Tuesday I attended the moving parliamentary launch of the new charity Gambling with Lives set up by families bereaved by gambling related suicides.
Tate & Lyle Sugars 140th Birthday
Henry Tate's cane sugar refinery has been a vital employer in the East End for 140 years.  On Tuesday I joined Tate & Lyle employees with colleague Stephen Timms MP to celebrate this milestone.
Work begins on new Fit and Health Childhood APPG report
Yesterday this APPG which I chair launched its work on the upcoming report on The Primary PE and Sport Premium.
Remembering Norman Pirie
Last Friday I joined Labour colleagues and members in remembering our dear friend and faithful Labour stalwart of the East End; R.I.P. Norman.

Prime Minister's Questions
Wednesday saw the latest round of PMQs which you can watch and read here.  The Leader of the Opposition's questions focused on the draft Brexit deal.

This week in Parliament...

The Finance Bill (Autumn Budget) was debated and voted on and there was a Westminster Hall debate on plastic-free packaging.

There was an opposition day debate on the EU Withdrawal Agreement: Legal Advice and a debate on school funding.

There was a debate on post-EU exit reciprocal healthcare arrangements and a debate on police pensions.

Following the Prime Minister's statement on the draft Brexit deal there was a debate on the Government's Veterans Strategy.
